Hospice Advocate

I am a board-certified hospice and palliative care physician who has served patients through the Hospice at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. I am currently on the Advisory Board of Hospice at Mercy Medical Center in Durango, Colorado. In 1995, I wrote a book on hospice and near-death experiences, Love is the Link: A Hospice Doctors Shares her Experience of Near-death and Dying. Since that time I have spoken internationally on end-of-life issues including the importance of hospice and advance care directives. I have studied Sun Style Tai Chi with Dr. Lam in the United States and in Australia. I have led workshops in Tai Chi for Arthritis and Tai Chi for Diabetes and have assisted in leading Sun Style 73 workshops. I have been a Master Trainer in the U.S. since April, 2002.
